LIFT METHOD
A stillwater method, ideally suited to tench and bream. The float is set slightly over-depth and a tell-tail shot is pinched onto the line above the hook, this shot acts as the lever in the rig.

The float can be a  a peacock quill fastened bottom end only with a float rubber, however a waggler with a stop knot is more secure.

A typical lift-bite is signaled by the float laying flat on the surface, but occasionally it just slides out of sight.
